Official Notice – Voluntary Suspension of ONAC Accreditation 19-OCP-004

In compliance with the obligations established in RAC-3.0-01, and based on the formal acceptance issued by the National Accreditation Body of Colombia – ONAC, we inform our certified professionals and all interested parties of the following:

Voluntary Suspension of ONAC Accreditation

The COLOMBIAN CERTIFICATION COUNCIL | ISCB (Personnel Certification Body with accreditation code 19-OCP-004) has formally requested and obtained the voluntary total suspension of its accreditation before ONAC, effective May 31, 2025.

This suspension was accepted by ONAC under Radicado 2025212585, in accordance with the LN-3.0-02 Lineamiento and section 12.6 of RAC-3.0-01. During this period, ONAC will update the organization’s status in the Official Directory of Accredited Bodies (DOA).

 

Implications for Certified Professionals

While the accreditation remains under voluntary suspension:

  1. All issued certificates remain technically valid until their respective expiration dates.
    The suspension does not invalidate any certificates.

  2. No reference to ONAC accreditation—including its symbol, logo, or any statement implying accredited status—may be used in documents, signatures, advertising, resumes, professional profiles, or promotional materials.

  3. All certificates continue to be supported by internationally recognized standards, including:

    • ISO 37301:2021

    • ISO 19011:2018

    • FATF 40 Recommendations:2023

  4. ISCB maintains its international accreditation with ANAB (ANSI National Accreditation Board) in the United States, ensuring the continuity and quality of all certification processes.

Commitment to Transparency

ISCB will inform all stakeholders of any updates regarding the lifting of the suspension, following the timelines and evaluation processes established by ONAC, including the 2025 annual assessment.
