Membership and Impartiality Statement

The International Security Certification Board | ISCB® LLC, based in the United States, does not offer direct memberships.

All memberships are exclusively managed through independent professional associations, such as:

  • American Certification Board for Polygraph Examiners

  • American Certification Board for Compliance Officers

These non-profit organizations are committed to promoting the professional development of their members by providing access to events, resources, and networking opportunities. However, they have no authority or influence over any certification decisions administered by ISCB® LLC.

 

Important: Membership Does Not Influence Certification

In accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17024:2012, ISCB® ensures that:

  • All candidates—regardless of membership status—are evaluated according to the same certification requirements outlined in the official Certification Handbook.

  • Certification decisions are made solely by the Professional Certification Board (PCB) of ISCB® LLC.

  • No membership, partnership, or affiliation provides any advantage or guarantee in the certification process.

 

Commitment to Impartiality

ISCB® maintains strict structural independence between its certification functions and the commercial, academic, or associative activities of its partners.

All certifications accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) are exclusively administered by:

International Security Certification Board LLC (ISCB® LLC)
A legally registered for-profit entity in the State of Florida, USA.

Membership through any third party is designed to support professional growth and community building—but has no impact on certification outcomes.
